AMVETS POST 72 AUXILIARY

Eligibility for membership in AMVETS Auxiliary is available to mothers, wives, daughters and sisters or regular members of AMVETS, and deceased veterans who were AMVETS, or would have been eligible for membership in the AMVETS, and is at least eighteen years old. The Duncan-Sullivan AMVET Post 72 has a very active auxiliary group that benefit all members of our Michigan Post

AUXILIARY PREAMBLE

We,the mothers, wives, widows, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, and granddaughters of AMVETS and female veterans, fully realizing our responsibilities to the community, State and Nation, associate ourselves for the following purposes: to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America; to safeguard the principles of freedom, liberty and justice for all; to promote the cause of perpetual peace and goodwill among nations; to maintain inviolate the freedom of our country; to preserve the fundamentals of democracy and Americanism; to perpetuate the friendships and associations of the great war of liberation; and to dedicate ourselves to the cause of mutual assistance...this of the grace of God.
