General Member Oath:
I, __NAME____, solemnly swear that I accept and adopt the Principles of AMVETS and that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States. I will aid every worthy Veteran to the best of my ability and I will obey the Constitution and By-Laws of the State and National Departments and my Post, so help me God.

Oath for Installation of Officers:
I, __NAME____, solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and that I will obey the Constitution & By-Laws of the State and National Departments and AMVETS (Post # or District Name as may apply). I further promise that I will fulfill the duties of my office to the best of my abilities, so help me God.
